This hospital started as Ratna Clinic, the first modern surgical facility of its kind in 1959. It was founded by the late Dr. Kamlesh Prabhu M.S., F.R.C.S. a renowned surgeon. Its services now involve, functional neurosurgery, advanced traumatology, neurology, psychiatry. In fact this is the only dedicated 60 bedded super-specialty center that treats all kinds of neurosurgery, polytrauma & neurological patients in Western Maharashtra. Over this period the center has built a formidable reputation in its clinical service, with experience of performing 7500 supra-major neurosurgical procedures with excellent results.Over 15,000 complicated trauma patients have been successfully treated.

The therapies in other specialties required for critical care and polytrauma management are available. A panel of well qualified, experienced consultants with established reputation in their respective fields attend to patients needs. Recently a Stryker Neuronavigation System has been added and Navigation Guided Endoscopy has begun.
